Art Museums

Located in a 19th century gristmill on the south branch of the Raritan River, the Hunterdon Museum of Art in Clinton cannot be missed. The Museum shows work by established and emerging artists and offers a dynamic schedule of art classes for children and adults.

The remarkable talent of the highly-trained performers at the Centenary Performing Arts Guild in Hackettstown and the Roxey Ballet of Lambertville entertain visitors night after night.

From the LYRICA Chamber Music (LCM) in Chatham, presenting masterpieces of chamber music and contemporary chamber works, to the Colonial Symphony in Morristown offering first rate performances of symphonies and other masterpieces, the celebration of music in the Skylands is year-round.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison is one of 22 professional theatres in the state. Not only is it the state's only professional theater company dedicated to Shakespeare's canon and other world classics, but it also offers education programs, including the touring company Shakespeare LIVE!

Children's Museums

With art, science, Native American, dinosaur, rock/mineral, mammal galleries and more, the Morris Museum in Morristown keeps kids entertained for hours!
