According to the received reports, for radio-stations in the Republic of Macedonia in 2006, 25 of them were public broadcasting enterprises, one on national level which covers the whole teritory of the country and 24 on local level.
The other radiostations were trade broadcasting companies, from which 3 on national level and 60 on local level. The total emission of radio programme of the public broadcasting enterprises was 171678 hours and 459039 hours of the trade broadcasting companies.
According the reports for television stations in Republic of Macedonia in 2006, there is one public broadcasting enterprise which has transmitted programme on national level and five on local level. The other television stations were trade broadcasting companies,from which, five transmitted programme on national level and 50 on local level.The total transmition of television programme of the public broadcasting enterprises was 50612 hours and 325827 hours of the trade broadcasting companies.
The surveys for the public broadcasting enterprises and the trade broadcasting companies in the Republic of Macedonia covered: the Public Broadcasting Enterprise - Macedonian Radio-Television, 24 public broadcasting enterprises and 118 trade broadcasting from which 63 transmit radio and 55 television programme.
