The Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Communication was established through Legal Notice 194 of 1996, entrusted with the following responsibilities:

5. Protection and development of wildlife (flora and fauna)
6. Environmental Protection
7. National Archives
8. Administration Of the Game Act
